Materials needed to make incense cones
You need: 2 cups dried marigold and rose flowers, half a cup dried coconut peel, 2 bay leaves, 10 pieces of Bhimseni camphor, 3 cinnamon sticks, 10 to 15 cloves, 2 teaspoons ghee and a little rose water. Note that the flower and coconut shell must be completely dry, otherwise it will take time for the cones to dry.
Simple method of making incense
First, break the flowers into small pieces. Then put them in a mixer along with coconut peel, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves and camphor and grind them. The powder should not be very fine, slightly coarse is fine. Now add 2 spoons of ghee to this powder. Then add rose water little by little and knead it like dough. The mixture should not be too wet, just enough to form a cone with your hands.
Now take a little mixture and shape it into a cone with your hands. If cones are not being made, you can also make small cakes or long sticks. Try not to make it thick so that it dries quickly. Keep the prepared cone in a plate and dry it in the sun for 1 to 2 days. Use it only after it dries from inside, otherwise it will not burn.
things to keep in mind
There should be no thread, plastic or garbage in the flowers. Do not use moldy or smelly flowers. Bhimseni camphor catches fire quickly, so handle it carefully. When the cone is dry, burn it in a pan and keep it in an airy place. Do not leave burning incense alone. If anyone is bothered by the smoke, extinguish it immediately and open the window.
