CJP founder going to Maharashtra to meet family after release, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka will handle press conference in Delhi; Announcement of continuing the movement demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner

New Delhi. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke, after being released from custody in Delhi, left for his village in Maharashtra to be with his family on the death of his grandmother. Recalling the events of October 10, he said that this day would be remembered as the beginning of the end of the dictatorship. Deepke made it clear that despite the detention and action to stop the demonstration, his organization is not going to back down.

Family mourns over grandmother's demise

Abhijeet Deepke's grandmother Savitribai Deepke died on October 10 in Santuk Pimpri village in Hingoli district of Maharashtra. She was ill for a long time. When the news of his demise came, Deepke was in police custody in Delhi.

Deepke had reached Delhi from Mumbai along with his colleagues Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka to join the proposed demonstration at Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. All three were taken into custody after the plane reached Delhi. After release, Deepke decided to go to his family.

Protest expressed in social media post

Deepke wrote on social media platform X that he is returning to the village to be with his family in this time of grief. He also told that Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka will hold a press conference in Delhi and explain the future strategy of the organization.

Describing October 10 as an important day for the country's politics, Deepke in his post said that CJP will neither step back nor stop its campaign out of fear. Their statement indicates that the organization intends to continue its protest on issues related to the election process and voter list.

Organization adamant on demanding resignation of Gyanesh Kumar

CJP is demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The organization has raised questions over alleged irregularities in the process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and changes related to the electoral rolls. The party had planned a demonstration at Jantar Mantar regarding this issue.

Delhi Police had not given permission for the demonstration citing concerns related to law and order, public safety and traffic management. After this, security arrangements were tightened in the capital and many people who had come to participate in the demonstration were detained.

Now look at the future strategy

After Deepke's release, the challenge for the CJP is to take the movement forward and present its stand on the detention proceedings. In the press conference of two other prominent leaders of the organization, it is said that information will be given about the upcoming programs and protest strategy.

Currently, Deepke is going to Maharashtra to join his family in the mourning period, while CJP has indicated to continue its campaign demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner. The next action of the organization and the reaction of the administration will be monitored in the coming days.
