Volkswagen ID. ERA 8X: German carmaker Volkswagen has launched its new electric range-extender SUV ID. in the Chinese market. ERA 8X has been launched. Talking about Rage, this SUV has been introduced with long driving range, strong performance and modern technology. According to the company, its long-range variant can cover a total of 1,602 kilometers on a single battery charge and filling of the fuel tank.

At the same time, its all-wheel drive (AWD) variant takes only 4.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.

The SUV was provided with features like large battery, range-extender system based on petrol engine, advanced driver assistance technology and premium cabin.

The price of the top variant goes up to 2,89,800 yuan. At the time of launch, the company has also announced promotional prices for a limited period.

Max: 2,49,800 yuan
Max Long Range: 2,69,800 yuan
Ultra Long Range: 2,89,800 yuan

Battery
The company has given two battery options in the SUV. The first is a 51.1 kWh LFP battery, while the long-range variant gets a 65.2 kWh NCM battery.
Currently Volkswagen ID. ERA 8X has been launched in the Chinese market. The company has not made any official announcement regarding its launch, price or availability in India. Therefore, no definite claim can be made yet regarding the possibility of its arrival in the Indian market.
