WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app in the world right now. However, Meta often brings new features for users. The aim is to make it more popular. Now it is known that WhatsApp is bringing a much awaited feature. From now on, users will no longer need to be physically online to send a message to a person or group on WhatsApp at a specific time. A new feature named 'Message Scheduling' will work for them.
What exactly is this feature? Users can now schedule text messages, links, images and videos in advance. And at that time it will reach the users. But currently this feature is available only in Android beta version 2.26.40.7 of WhatsApp. Hopefully, it will gradually become available in other versions as well. It is good to say that users can choose the time from 10 minutes to 2 weeks.
How the Message Scheduling Feature Works
After typing the message in the chat box, the simple 'send' button should be pressed for a while. After holding the button, a new option will appear on the screen, where you can select a specific date and time to send the message. After setting the time, the message will remain in the queue. No worries if your phone is offline or the app is closed. The message will reach the customer on time. However, only one photo or video can be scheduled at a time. You also get the option to edit or add a caption before sending the image.
It should be noted that now WhatsApp is closely related to life. From waking up to going to bed at night, this app keeps track. Need to send urgent messages. But in the fast-paced life it is not always possible to stay online. This problem can be easily avoided by scheduling messages.
