The friendship between two old friends of Bollywood, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, is once again in the news. The reason for this is Salman's recent statement, in which he described his fellow actor as the best suited to host the popular reality show Bigg Boss. During a conversation on Karan Johar's show Koffee with Karan, Salman was asked that if he had to suggest the name of any film star for Bigg Boss house, who would he choose. As soon as he heard the question, he took the name of Sanjay Dutt. Salman not only made this suggestion on the basis of friendship, but also cited Sanjay's life experiences and habit of expressing his views openly as the reason for this.
Why does Salman see something special in Sanjay Dutt?
During the rapid fire round, Salman was asked which celebrity he would recommend for Bigg Boss and what would be the reason behind it. The actor took Sanjay Dutt's name in response and emphasized on his life experiences. According to Salman, Sanjay does not hesitate in sharing stories and experiences of his life. He also pointed out a similarity between his and Sanjay's personality. Both are seen as people who talk openly about their lives instead of keeping them hidden. Salman believes such an ethos can be useful for a show like Bigg Boss, where the experiences, emotions and personal stories of the contestants constantly come to the fore.
Both the stars have a long association with Bigg Boss
Salman Khan has been hosting Bigg Boss for a long time and his name has also been associated with the identity of the show. Interestingly, Sanjay Dutt has also joined this program before. Both the actors together hosted the fifth season of Bigg Boss. In such a situation, Salman's suggestion to Sanjay for this role again reminds of the old experience. However, Salman's statement does not confirm that Sanjay Dutt is going to host the upcoming season of the show. At present, this is a suggestion regarding his preferred option, and not an official announcement of any new appointment.
Salman also gave an interesting answer regarding Panvel
Actress Karisma Kapoor was also present with Salman in Koffee with Karan. During the conversation, he was asked that if he had the opportunity to choose any exciting experience once in his life, what would he like to do. Salman replied that he would like to go to Panvel. On his answer, Karisma said jokingly that she had already anticipated that Salman would give the same answer. Salman has a farmhouse in Panvel, where he and his family spend their free time. Therefore his answer appeared to be related to his personal life also.
The last season of Koffee with Karan begins
The ninth season of Karan Johar's popular chat show Koffee with Karan has started from October 14. According to available information, this is the final season of the program and Salman Khan became its first guest. The presence of Karisma Kapoor with him made the episode special. After the conversation in the show, now Salman's comment about Sanjay Dutt is in discussion. It remains to be seen whether Sanjay Dutt is seen hosting Bigg Boss in future or not, but for now Salman has made it clear that his first choice for this role is Sanju Baba.
