In this feature of Vodafone Idea, users can create a family group through Vi app. Family members or other Vi users can be added to this group. After this, group members can send data to each other when needed.
There will be a primary member who will form the group. Apart from himself, he can add three other members to the group. That means a total of four members can join a group.
To take advantage of this feature, all members must have an active prepaid plan of Vi. The special thing is that it is not necessary for all the members of the group to be at the same place. They can also share data from different cities or locations.
Will be able to share 500MB data at one time
The most special thing about Vi's family plan is data sharing. If a member is about to run out of data, another member of the group can send him data.
500MB data can be shared at a time. The sender of the data must have at least 600MB of data in his account. For data sharing, it is necessary for both the users to join the family group. All members must have an active prepaid plan. With this, if the data of any member of the family gets exhausted, the remaining data of the other member can be used.

Go to the Family tab in the app.
Select Create Family option.
Enter the mobile number of the member you want to add to the group.
Complete OTP verification.
