Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor added a musical touch to the Navratri celebrations during his recent visit to the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai, where he showcased his singing talent by performing the popular song “Kabira”.

During his visit, Ranbir met his filmmaker friend Ayan Mukerji and greeted the paparazzi at the venue, posing for photographs with them. However, the highlight of his visit was his impromptu singing performance alongside singer Harshdeep Kaur.

The “Rockstar” actor joined Harshdeep on stage to sing “Kabira” from his 2013 film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”.

A video that went viral on social media showed Ranbir sharing the stage with Harshdeep as she performed the song. Holding a microphone, the “Barfi” actor joined her in singing the popular track and turned the microphone towards the audience, encouraging those present to sing along.

Videos from the event also showed Ranbir arriving at the pandal dressed in a red-and-gold kurta paired with white pyjamas. He offered prayers to Goddess Durga and later greeted the cameras with folded hands while posing for photographs.

This year marked the 80th year of the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja celebrations, continuing the Mukherjee family's long-standing tradition of observing the festival with devotion and grandeur.

Several other celebrities also attended the celebrations. Actress Kajol arrived with her children, Yug and Nysa Devgn, wearing a traditional yellow-orange saree. She was seen taking photographs of the idol of Goddess Durga.

Tanishaa Mukerji, veteran actor Jaya Bachchan and filmmaker Anurag Basu were also present at the pandal. Jaya and Anurag offered prayers, while Anurag was seen wearing a blue kurta. Kajol also posed for photographs with Tanishaa and Ayan Mukerji.

On the professional front, Ranbir will next be seen portraying Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's “Ramayana: Rise of a Legend”. The film also stars Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.

The first part is scheduled to release in theaters on November 5, coinciding with Diwali, while the second installment is expected to arrive during Diwali 2027.
