New Delhi. Brij Mohan Sharma, father of famous entertainment industry singer Neeti Mohan, passed away recently. The singer shared the news through a post on social media on Sunday, October 18. He described his father as the mentor of his family. Celebs have expressed grief over this post.

When did father die?
Sharing the news, Neeti and her family said, “With deep sorrow and a heavy heart, we have to announce the sad demise of our beloved father, Shri Brij Mohan Sharma, who departed from this world on 15.10.2026. A loving husband and father, our guide and the foundation of our family. His wisdom, values and love will always remain in our hearts. Even though he is no longer with us, his blessings and his beautiful memories will continue to guide us throughout our lives.

Brij Mohan Sharma supported his daughters
Brij Mohan Sharma played an important role in the lives and careers of his four daughters – Neeti, Shakti, Mukti and Kriti Mohan. He supported her ambitions and encouraged her to pursue her dreams in the entertainment industry. He always stood by his daughters, whether they were pursuing a career in the field of music, dance or acting. He also helped them face the social expectations and challenges that come in this journey. Even during difficult times, Sharma remained an important part of the family. During Neeti's wedding in 2019, he was reportedly admitted in the ICU, and his mother performed the Kanyadaan ceremony in his place.
