Most patients in zone eight

Maximum cases of dengue have been found in Shardanagar, Raja Bijli Pasi, Kharika, Vidyavati and Revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee wards of Zone 8. According to the Health Department, 108 patients have been confirmed here so far. Some of these patients are admitted in private hospitals and undergoing treatment.

Zone four and three are also sensitive

87 patients have been found in Chinhat II, Shaheed Bhagat Singh I, Gomtinagar, Khargapur-Sarawan and Ismailganj of Zone Four. At the same time, 60 cases have been reported so far in Aliganj, Keshavnagar, Triveninagar, Khadra and Faizullaganj of Zone 3. Due to receding water after flood in Faizullaganj, moisture and waterlogged conditions may become favorable for breeding of mosquitoes at many places. In such a situation, there is a possibility of increase in the number of patients in the coming days due to increase in larvae. Health department teams are spraying anti-larvae and people are being made aware about cleanliness.

That's why the disease is increasing…this is how to prevent it

According to experts, the outbreak of dengue has increased due to waterlogging after monsoon and breeding of mosquito larvae in water stored in coolers, pots and tyres. According to CMO Dr. NB Singh, people should clean them regularly. Change the water in coolers and pots every three-four days. Keep water tanks covered and do not allow waterlogging around the house. To avoid mosquitoes, wear full-sleeved clothes and use mosquito nets or anti-mosquito devices.
