mumbai: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt attended the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja celebrations, embracing an elegant traditional Bengali look for the festivities.

The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress looked stunning in a bright fuchsia-pink saree featuring delicate gold dot motifs and a metallic border. She paired it with a sky-blue blouse with structured puff sleeves. Adding a distinctive touch, the back of the blouse featured four vertically arranged lotus motifs beneath a crescent-shaped moon.

Alia accessorised her outfit with statement gold jhumkas, golden bangles and a cocktail ring.

Further enhancing the traditional appeal of her ensemble, the ‘Jigra’ actress wore her hair in a neat low bun adorned with delicate gold hair accessories and a gajra. Keeping her makeup subtle, she opted for kohl-rimmed eyes, glossy lips and a small black bindi.

Alia was also seen participating in the aarti during the festivities.

On Saturday, actor Ranbir Kapoor also sought blessings at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal.

Adding to the festive mood, Ranbir gave an impromptu singing performance at the pandal. He joined singer Harshdeep Kaur to sing ‘Kabira’, a popular track from his 2013 film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. The film was directed by Ayan Mukerji, who was also present at the pandal.

Ranbir wore a red-and-gold kurta paired with white pyjamas as he arrived at the Durga Puja venue.

Alia and Ranbir will soon be seen together on screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated film ‘Love & War’, which will also feature Vicky Kaushal in a key role.

‘Love & War’ is slated for theatrical release on January 21, 2027.
