Tezzbuzz Desk- Police investigation has intensified in the case of firing on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. According to the latest information, five suspects have been arrested in this case. Of these, information has come to light that three of them have been caught from Kota in Rajasthan, while one suspect has been caught from the Maharashtra-Gujarat border. Police are also investigating the role of other people involved in the case.
Five rounds were fired at actor Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu area of Mumbai on Sunday. Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped the attack, while his driver suffered injuries. After the incident, Mumbai Police and Crime Branch have intensified the investigation to identify and arrest the accused.
Tiger Shroff was returning after playing football
According to the information, Tiger Shroff was returning after playing football, when his car was targeted. Before the attack the suspects had conducted a recce of the area. According to eyewitnesses, the attackers were waiting in the area for some time before the incident.
Three people were riding on the bike during the attack. Two of these people got down and fired, while the third remained near the bike and was ready to help it escape. After the incident the attackers fled from the spot.
Police had recovered the Pulsar bike used in the incident from outside Andheri railway station. Initial investigation revealed that the bike was registered in Mumbai. Police are collecting information related to the vehicle through number plate, chassis number and engine number. The activities of the accused are also being traced with the help of CCTV footage.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Tiger Shroff after the incident. He had told that there are burn marks due to gunpowder on the actor's right hand. However, Tiger was not hit by the bullet. Information about their driver and an auto driver being injured in the incident was also revealed.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had said that the police have received important clues about the attackers and efforts are being made to arrest the accused soon. He also said that the people behind the attack and those operating the network from outside will also be tracked.
At present, the police investigation is progressing after the news of the arrest of five suspects. The findings of the official investigation regarding his role in the case and the reason behind the attack are awaited.
