Delhi High Court's shock to Saurav-Ashutosh, hearing postponed on bond breaking!

Hearing was held on Wednesday on the petition of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. Saurav and Ashutosh have challenged the order of the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM), under which their judicial custody was extended. Today (Wednesday) his judicial custody period is ending.

The Delhi High Court told the counsel appearing for Das and Ranka that when the matter is listed before the SEM Court today, what is the need to come directly to the High Court. The court said that first it should be seen what order comes in the SEM court at 2 pm, after that the options available under the law can be considered.

The High Court also commented that if the SEM Court's decision comes in favor of the petitioners by 4 pm, the dispute will end there. At the same time, if the decision is not in their favor, then they can first approach the competent revision court.

Delhi High Court while addressing Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka said that you have broken the bond, you are a person who has violated the bond. Could it be so illegal to insist on bond conditions? After denotification, went to Jantar Mantar without permission.

The petition challenging the denotification is pending in the Supreme Court, it has not been stayed. You are at the forefront, when you break the barricade a large number of others are likely to do the same.

Delhi High Court said that there may be some people who are not under your control. We have seen this happening outside the country also. If the bond is broken a second time, aren't the authorities entitled to impose stricter bond conditions?

Delhi High Court said that when you came during the first protest in July, the organization was the same, but the issue had changed. So the question arises that when there are people whose issues keep changing constantly, the next question would be who are you? What are you? What is your organization and what is the purpose of your organization?

After asking the age, the court commented on Saurav and Ashutosh that both are not Genji.

Delhi High Court suggested to the lawyers of Das and Ranka that they can withdraw the petition and wait for the hearing in SEM Court today. Earlier, CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka had filed a petition demanding immediate hearing from the High Court.

This step has been taken after the SEM Court extended the judicial custody of both of them till October 21. The court had said that their behavior shows no respect for the law and shows that they are used to protesting in restricted areas.

After investigation, the SEM Court also declared the bail given by these two leaders invalid. The court said that there were discrepancies in the identity documents and that the people giving bail could not even provide basic information about the persons for whom they had taken bail.
Let us tell you that on October 13, 14 people were detained on charges of entering private premises at Jantar Mantar and preventing policemen from doing their duty, which included Saurav Das and Ranka as well as party member Ajinkya Shinde.
The CJP members were protesting against irregularities in the 'Special Intensive Revision' (SIR) of the voter list and also raised slogans against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.
