Union Minister of State Ramdas Athawale gave a strong reaction to the statement of Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut. Actually, Sanjay Raut had said that the real Bishnoi is Amit Shah. On this, Athawale has called it completely unfair.
Speaking to IANS, Ramdas Athawale said, “I believe it is completely unfair to make such allegations. Amit Shah is the Home Minister of the country and a senior BJP leader. It is absolutely wrong to compare him with Bishnoi.” He said that Sanjay Raut always keeps giving such statements. They keep saying 'when our government comes'. He had said the same in 2024 and is saying the same even today.
Ramdas Athawale said, “If you want to bring your own government, you have every right to try, but the government cannot be changed merely through protests and agitations.
Uddhav Thackeray has supported CJP founder Abhijit Dipke's movement, it is fine if they want to support his movement.” He said, “The movement does not lead to change of power because this is India and not Bangladesh. Here, power changes only through elections, not through agitation.”
At the same time, Ramdas Athawale also gave a statement on the discussions regarding Mahayuti alliance and the post of Chief Minister in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena says that the party will be expanded and very soon Eknath Shinde will become the CM again.
On this, Athawale said that there is no dispute in Mahayuti. “The good thing is, there is no dispute in our Mahayuti alliance. Today Devendra Fadnavis is the chief minister because the BJP has won 132 seats while Eknath Shinde's party has won 57 seats,” he said.
Ramdas Athawale praised Eknath Shinde and said that he has done a very good job as Chief Minister for two and a half years. He is a good leader who rose from driving an auto-rickshaw to become the Chief Minister through Shiv Sena. BJP had given him the post of Chief Minister for two and a half years.
He said, “If his party leaders want Shinde to become the chief minister again, then it is natural for them to say so. It is a good thing that they are expecting BJP to win more seats so that Eknath Shinde can become the chief minister again.”
