'JDU will know its status', Anant Singh's sharp attack after expulsion; Discussion was also held on Nitish and Nishant

Patna. After being expelled from Janata Dal United (JDU) for six years, Mokama MLA Anant Singh has launched a scathing attack on the party leadership. He said that he has no regrets about being expelled from the party and the public will answer for it in the elections. However, amidst the resentment, he also talked about maintaining his respect for Nitish Kumar.

'The public is the master, everything will be known in the elections'

Anant Singh, reacting to the expulsion decision, said that there is no need for him to appeal to remain in the party. He says that he took the appropriate step according to him and the party has taken action, so he has no problem with it.

Taking aim at the current leadership of JDU, he claimed that the party may have to suffer political loss in the coming elections. He also predicted the number of seats. However, this is his political assessment, not the election result.

Talk about maintaining respect for Nitish Kumar

Anant Singh said that his respect for Nitish Kumar will remain the same as before. He indicated that despite being expelled from the party, he does not want to maintain personal distance from Nitish Kumar.

In his statement, the difference between the current leadership of the party and Nitish Kumar was clearly visible. He criticized the current leadership, but maintained a restrained stance regarding Nitish Kumar.

Avoided commenting on Nishant Kumar

When asked questions about Nitish Kumar's son Nishant Kumar, Anant Singh said that he does not want to say anything about him. He also said that after the decision taken by the party, he is ready for the future situation.

It is clear from his reaction that at present his target is the current leadership of JDU. However, he did not make any detailed allegations regarding the role of Nishant Kumar.

MLC elections became the main reason for controversy

On October 24, JDU had expelled Anant Singh and his wife Neelam Devi from the party for six years. Alleged anti-party activities were cited as the reason behind the party's action.

The controversy deepened during the Legislative Council elections of Patna Graduate Constituency. Anant Singh had supported Jan Suraj's candidate Anuj Singh instead of JDU's official candidate Neeraj Kumar and also campaigned in his favor. JDU saw this as a violation of party instructions.

Keep an eye on MLA's membership also

The party has also recommended action to the Assembly Speaker to terminate the assembly membership of Anant Singh. However, expulsion from the party and termination of membership of the Assembly are different processes. The final position regarding the membership of the MLA will be clear only after the related constitutional process.

After Anant Singh's aggressive statement, it will be important to see in Bihar politics in which direction he takes his political path and to what extent his conflict with JDU increases.
