Karva Chauth fast is very special in Hindu religion and especially for married women. Break the fast by making a moon shape from rice
On the day of Karva Chauth, if the moon is not visible in your city due to bad weather and rain, then make the shape of the moon with roli-akshat on a puja plate or a pile of rice on a red cloth and considering it to be the real moon, complete the fast by offering Arghya.

When the moon is not visible in the sky, check the time of moonrise based on the almanac of your city and at the same time break the fast by facing the direction of the moon and offering puja, prayer and Arghya.
Use of silver coin and mirror
