Now a new twist has emerged in the famous Neela Drum massacre of Meerut. Rahul alias Bablu, elder brother of deceased Saurabh Rajput, has alleged that a car rider deliberately hit him on Wednesday night. Rahul has been injured in this accident. Rahul suspects that there could be a conspiracy behind this incident by the family of Sahil Shukla or Muskaan Rastogi, convicted of Saurabh's murder. The special thing is that he is also the main witness in this case.
According to Rahul, the incident happened around 11 pm on Wednesday night near Bahadur Motors on Delhi Road in Meerut, where he was standing. He was standing on the roadside when a car came towards him and hit him and then reversed the car and tried to crush him again. To save his life, he ran into a nearby street and raised an alarm. After this the car rider fled from the spot.

Rahul got injured
Rahul suffered injuries in his hands, legs and ribs in this incident. Somehow he managed to save his life but due to the collision he suffered injuries at many places. He was taken to the hospital immediately after the incident. It is being told that the injuries were not so deep and he was discharged after first aid.
What did Rahul tell?
Rahul told that he has no personal enmity with anyone. He claims that there was no one else present on the road when he was hit. For this reason, they feel that this is not just a road accident but a deliberate attack. He has expressed the suspicion that Sahil or Muskaan's family is behind this incident. However, no evidence has yet emerged to support this claim.
Another important thing is that Rahul has not yet given a written complaint to the police in this matter. He told that at present he has not filed a complaint in the police station. In such a situation, it is not yet clear whether the incident of collision with the car was an accident or someone deliberately targeted them.

What was the blue drum case?
Let us tell you that Saurabh Rajput was murdered in Meerut in March 2025. According to the police, his wife Muskaan Rastogi and Muskaan's lover Sahil Shukla had cut the body into pieces after the murder and hid them in a blue drum filled with cement. In this case, Meerut District Court had convicted both of them on 30 September 2026 and sentenced them to death on 14 October. Both have appealed against this decision in the High Court.
