Amitabh Bachchan's displeasure
Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has recently expressed his displeasure over a media news through a post on his social media. He alleged that his words were presented in the wrong context. Bachchan has also warned the media to avoid such misunderstandings.
Prayer to Lord Krishna
Amitabh mentioned the traditional line, “Haathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki” while praying to Lord Krishna in a post. He says that the media has distorted his message.
Media misreporting
Amitabh also mentioned the heading of the news published by the media in his post. He clarified that his message was only a prayer and not part of any political statement. He said that the media has misrepresented it, which is also wrong from the religious point of view.
Strong message to media
Giving a strong message to the media, Amitabh said that he has 5 crore followers, and if needed, even 10 percent of them can come in his support. He also said that when public figures commit mistakes, they apologise, but no such apology comes from the media.
Sharp criticism of Amitabh
Criticizing the media, he said, “When we make a mistake, we immediately apologise, but the media thinks it is their birthright.” Furthermore, he wrote in another post, “We write the prayer, and the media misuses its words.”
