Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the narrator of Bageshwar Dham, is once again embroiled in controversy regarding his statement. Angered by his alleged remarks on Lord Krishna, MP Pappu Yadav has opened a front against him. Pappu Yadav reached Delhi's Parliament police station on Monday and lodged a complaint against Dhirendra Shastri. Earlier, he had announced to take legal action against the narrator by posting on social media platform X.
Pappu Yadav got angry with the comment on Lord Krishna
Expressing his displeasure on X, Pappu Yadav wrote that insult to Lord Shri Krishna will not be tolerated at any cost. Targeting Dhirendra Shastri, he called him a power-protected storyteller and said that he will file a case against him.
The MP also alleged in his post that the narrator is now trying to apologize for his statement. He made it clear that he will not back down until legal action is taken in this matter.
What did Dhirendra Shastri say during the story?
In fact, during the Katha in Karaira, Madhya Pradesh on October 29, Dhirendra Shastri had commented comparing Lord Shri Krishna and Lord Ram. Referring to the Tribhanga form of Lord Krishna, he had said that he appears crooked at three places, whereas according to him Lord Rama stands straight. Shastri had further said that the name of Lord Krishna, his gait and standing style are crooked, whereas the name and form of Lord Rama are straight.
Hanuman and Lord Ram were also mentioned
In his address, Dhirendra Shastri compared Lord Krishna's lifting of Govardhan Mountain to Hanuman ji carrying the mountain. He said that playing the flute is a sport, but picking up the bow is not. Similarly, he described Ayodhya as straight and Vrindavan as crooked. The controversy has deepened after these comments of Dhirendra Shastri. Now after Pappu Yadav's complaint, this matter has become a topic of legal and political discussion.
