Diwali Special Train 2026: Recently the department has decided to run 2 new festival special trains from Rani Kamlapati (RKMP) railway station of Bhopal to Gorakhpur and Danapur. The Railway Board has taken this decision in view of the huge crowd of passengers on the platform. With the operation of this new train, passengers from MP to Purvanchal and Bihar will be able to reach their homes very easily.
Diwali Special Train 2026: The festival of Diwali is near and on this occasion, people living away from home are preparing to go to their villages. Everyone wants to celebrate the festival of Diwali at home with family. As festivals like Diwali and Chhath are approaching, huge crowd of passengers is being seen at railway stations. To ensure that passengers do not face any problem in going home, the Railway Department is continuously running many special trains.
Recently the department has decided to run 2 new festival special trains from Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati (RKMP) railway station to Gorakhpur and Danapur. The Railway Board has taken this decision in view of the huge crowd of passengers on the platform. With the operation of this new train, passengers from MP to Purvanchal and Bihar will be able to reach their homes very easily.
Rani Kamlapati-Gorakhpur train timing
In view of the huge crowd of passengers at the railway stations on the occasion of Diwali, the Railway Board has gifted train number 01663/01664. According to the railway schedule, train number 01663 will leave from Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati Railway Station for Gorakhpur at 6:45 pm on 7 November 2026 and will reach Gorakhpur at 12:30 pm the next day.
For return, train number 01664 will depart from Gorakhpur Railway Station at 7:50 am on 9 November 2026, which will reach Rani Kamlapati at 1:15 pm the next day. The stoppage of this Diwali special train will be at Vidisha, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow and Gonda stations.
It will be easy to go from Bhopal to Bihar
Railways has also taken a big decision for the passengers who want to go from Bhopal to Bihar. Train number 01661/01662 Rani Kamlapati-Danapur special train will leave from Rani Kamlapati station, which will reach Danapur near Patna via Itarsi, Jabalpur and Prayagraj. Train No. 01661 will depart from Rani Kamlapati for Danapur on 11 November 2026 at 2:25 pm and reach Danapur at 9:15 am the next day. In return, train number 01662 will leave from Danapur Railway Station at around 11:20 am on 12 November 2026 and will reach Rani Kamlapati station of Bhopal at 10:50 am the next day.
This train will stop at Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj, Chhivki, Mirzapur, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar and Arrah stations. With the operation of these trains, it will become easier for passengers to go home.
