Tezzbuzz Desk – NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday. 85-year-old Sharad Pawar was admitted to the hospital for the last three days, where he was undergoing treatment for bronchitis, chest infection and cough. According to doctors, his condition is now stable and further treatment will continue at home.
Dr. Pratit Samdani, the doctor treating Sharad Pawar, said that he has been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital. According to the doctor, Pawar was suffering from bronchitis, chest infection and cough. Now his condition is stable and his treatment will continue at home.
After being discharged from the hospital, Sharad Pawar has returned to his home located near the hospital. There was concern in political and social circles regarding his health for the last few days.
Political discussion increased due to Pawar's hospitalization
With Sharad Pawar's hospitalization, speculations had intensified regarding the possibility of the two factions of NCP reuniting. Meanwhile, many big political leaders and prominent personalities reached the hospital and met Sharad Pawar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inquired about the well-being of Sharad Pawar over phone. Apart from this, many prominent personalities including industrialist Gautam Adani, NCP MP Praful Patel, Minister Chhagan Bhujbal and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached the hospital to meet him.
Questions raised when Sunetra Pawar did not arrive
According to sources, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar had sought time to meet Sharad Pawar thrice, but she did not come to meet him in the hospital. Questions were raised about his not reaching the hospital at a time when political discussions were intense regarding the possible merger of the two factions of NCP.
A video of the meeting of Praful Patel and Sharad Pawar was also in discussion. In the video, the two leaders were heard discussing a possible meeting after November 10. In this, Sharad Pawar suggested that after November 10, they should sit together and talk.
After Sharad Pawar's discharge from the hospital, now political eyes are on the possible talks between the two factions of NCP and the future political direction.
