Jenny, who reached Dehradun from Assam, held a press conference and made serious allegations against Congress leader and former Uttarakhand minister Harak Singh Rawat. Jenny says that she was raped when she was only 16 years old, i.e. a minor.
She used to work at the house of Harak Singh Rawat and during this time she was exploited. Jenny claimed that after this incident, she was admitted to a mental hospital and she was also forcibly made to sign some documents. Jenny, who has come forward again after almost 23 years, has demanded the identity of the father of her 23-year-old son and to give him his rights. He has demanded reopening of the CBI investigation into the old case and getting his son's DNA test done with Harak Singh Rawat. Jenny has also appealed to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for justice. He says that just as steps were taken for justice in Ankita Bhandari case, in the same way he should also get justice. Here he got work at an STD booth. During this time, through a Congress leader, he got the opportunity to work at the house of the then minister Harak Singh Rawat.
Jenny alleges that Harak Singh Rawat had asked her to stay and work at his house. At that time his age was about 16 years. According to Jenny, she did not even know the Hindi language properly and was new to Uttarakhand. She claims that this situation was taken advantage of and she was sexually exploited. According to Jenny, she gave birth to a son in June 2003. After this he accused Harak Singh Rawat of being the father of the child. This matter later became known as the Jenny episode in the politics of Uttarakhand.

Jenny once again expressed her views in a press conference at Uttaranchal Press Club in Dehradun on 7 November 2026. During this, he cried and mentioned the alleged incident that happened to him. Jenny alleged that when she was 16 years old, Harak Singh Rawat had raped her. He said that such exploitation happened to him, due to which his life completely changed.

What happened in 2003? How did the Jenny affair begin?
The Jenny episode started during the year 2002-03. At that time there was a Congress government in Uttarakhand and Narayan Dutt Tiwari was the Chief Minister. Harak Singh Rawat was a minister in the then government. Jenny had accused him of sexually assaulting her and the father of her child is Harak Singh Rawat. This matter had gained a lot of political momentum at that time. After Jenny's allegations became public, Harak Singh Rawat had to resign from the post of minister. The case was handed over to CBI for investigation. After this, DNA test was done regarding the paternity of the child.
At that time, the investigation revealed that the DNA did not match. On the basis of this, Harak Singh Rawat got clean chit. The matter also reached the court and Harak Singh Rawat says that the court has given its decision in this matter and the investigation report has also been approved. However, Jenny is now raising questions on the old investigation itself. He claims that his son's DNA test was not done properly and the entire investigation was messed up.
