IMD Weather Update 7 November 2026: As the first week of November ends, the weather is changing in North India. The effect of cold has started increasing in the morning and night, while the day temperature remains warm in many areas. The effect of cold is being felt more in the hilly areas. Light fog in Delhi-NCR
The weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to be normal on November 7. According to IMD, light fog or mist may be seen at many places in the morning. As the day progresses, the sky will remain clear and there is a possibility of sunshine. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be between 27 to 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be between 15 to 17 degrees Celsius. North-westerly winds can blow at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour during the day. The weather is also likely to remain dry in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad. Light cold will be felt in the morning and night, while the weather may remain pleasant in the afternoon.
Cold will increase in Haryana
The weather is expected to remain normal in Haryana on Saturday. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky is likely to remain clear in most parts of the state and the effect of cold will be felt in the morning and evening. Due to sunshine during the day, a huge drop in the maximum temperature is not expected, but there may be a gradual decrease in the night temperature. At present the weather is expected to remain dry in the major districts of the state.
Fall in temperature in Punjab
The cold of November has slowly started showing its effect in Punjab. The weather is likely to remain mainly dry in the state on November 7. According to IMD, there is no major rain activity expected in Punjab at present. However, due to drop in temperature in the morning and night, the feeling of cold may increase.
Weather patterns in Himachal Pradesh
The weather in Himachal Pradesh is expected to be normal on Saturday. In high altitude areas, the effect of cold will be felt more in the morning and night. Temperature fluctuations may continue at tourist places like Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala.
Weather of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand
The weather is likely to remain dry in Uttar Pradesh on November 7. At the same time, no major seasonal change is expected in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and Chhattisgarh.
Weather of East and South India
Weather activities in eastern, northeastern and southern parts are going to be different from North India. There may be light rain at some places in Bihar on November 10. The weather is going to be more active in South India on 7th November.
