Hamza Zahoor scored a match-winning hundred against India in the U19 Asia Cup on Sunday, November 8. He faced 108 balls for his century and celebrated animatedly. He then took out a pacer from his pocket, displaying it in front of the cameras. Hamza struck 10 boundaries and 3 sixes.
It was about how he manifested that knock. Hamza had written that he would score a fifty during the game.”Tomorrow match, 50 inshallah. Hamza Zahoor. I am the best,” read the note.

He dedicated the knock to his brother.
Earlier, India were bowled out for 208 despite the presence of Aaryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid. Arjun Rajput scored 107 runs to take the team to a respectable total.
The Indian bowlers didn’t allow the Pakistan batters to settle down, with the score at 61/5 in 15 overs at one stage. This is when Hamza steadied the ship. He added 107 runs with Hasnain Abbas Dar.

His captain, Farhan Yousaf, lauded the player, saying that he was not surprised by the innings from his teammate under pressure.
“I am not surprised at all. I know about his talent, and there was no surprising element in it. I appreciate the way he read the situation and conditions,” he said.
