According to preliminary data from trade tracker Sacnilk, the comedy drama has collected Rs 15 crore nett at the domestic box office on its first day. The film got a total of 10,892 shows across the country, due to which its Gross India collection has reached Rs 22.50 crore.
This opening day collection also includes the figures from the paid previews held on Thursday, where the film had earned Rs 3.75 crore in advance. Including these two, the total net collection of the film at the Indian box office has become Rs 18.75 crore. The film’s total theater occupancy on the first day was recorded at around 26.46 percent, with night shows seeing the highest footfall.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, this film is the third installment of the ‘Welcome’ franchise. The pace of advance booking for the weekend is very fast in the multiplexes of major metros like Mumbai and Delhi-NCR, which makes it clear that the film can create new records at the box office on the coming Saturday and Sunday.
