Nearly two months after his mother’s death, a sum of money suddenly appeared in his bank account, surprising both the young man and the bank officials.

According to media reports and information posted on social media, Deepak, a Noida resident, lost his mother, Gayatri Devi, about two months ago. Recently, Deepak received a message on his mobile phone regarding his bank account. When he checked the status of his mother’s Kotak Mahindra Bank account, it showed a balance of approximately ₹1.13 lakh crore.

According to Deepak, on August 3rd, he received a message about a large deposit in his account. At first, he didn’t believe it. But when he checked his bank account details, he saw a large amount. Even his friends were surprised to see so many digits and zeros in his account.

It was reported that the amount reflected in the account was several times greater than Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s reported wealth of approximately ₹7,438 crore. The sudden news of such a large sum of money in the account brought the entire matter into the spotlight.

The bank froze the account

The next morning, on August 4th, Deepak went to the bank and informed the officials about the matter. When the bank officials checked the amount shown in the account, they were also shocked. The account was subsequently frozen due to irregularities.

The bank initiated an investigation into the matter and brought it to the attention of the Income Tax Department. Initially, the reason for the large amount appearing in the account is suspected to be a technical glitch or a suspicious transaction. However, the exact nature of the amount appearing in the account will only be clear after the investigation is complete.

Deepak got upset due to continuous phone calls

Deepak’s troubles worsened after the incident went viral on social media. As the news spread, he began receiving a constant stream of calls from relatives, neighbors, and the media. Frustrated by the constant calls, he switched off his mobile phone.
