Recently the makers released the poster of Arun Govil from the film, who is playing the role of King Dasharatha in 'Ramayana'. In this poster, he was seen sitting on the throne and his look received a lot of praise from the audience. Now the makers have released the look posters of two more important characters from the film, who changed the fate of Lord Ram forever. These two characters are of Kaikeyi and Manthara, who are played by Lara Dutta and Sheeba Chaddha in the film.
The look of both the actresses looks quite impressive in the poster released by the makers. Lara Dutta is looking very royal in the look of Kaikeyi. She is wearing traditional attire and jewellery, and has a look of intense anger on her face. This look of Lara Dutta is being liked a lot. Talking about Sheeba Chaddha, after seeing her in Manthara's look, she is being talked about everywhere. In Manthara's look, she looks sharp and serious. There is a stick in his hand and his waist is touched, while mysterious expressions are also visible on his face.
While sharing the posters of Kaikeyi and Manthara, the makers have also explained the importance of the characters. Lara Dutta's poster reads – 'A queen, a mother and two desires that will betray a father's love and change Ram's destiny forever.' It is written along with the poster of Manthara – 'A driving mind. Whose whisper will change a mother's love in the darkest phase of the state. While introducing both the characters, the makers further wrote – 'Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi and Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara.' Now reacting to the poster, the audience is giving their respective reactions. While many praised Lara Dutta's expressions in the role of Kaikeyi, many others said that the makers have chosen the right artist for the role of Kaikeyi.
Talking about Ramayana, an army of big stars is going to be seen in 'Ramayana' being made under the direction of Nitish Tiwari. While Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Ram in the film, Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mata Sita, Yash Lankapati Ravana, Sunny Deol Hanuman, Ravi Dubey Laxman, Arun Govil Raja Dasharatha, Kajal Aggarwal Mandodari, Mohit Raina will be seen in the role of Lord Shiva and Indira Krishnan will be seen in the role of Queen Kaushalya. The first part of this film, which is being made in 2 parts, will be released on Diwali 2026 and the second on Diwali 2027. The film is being jointly produced by Namit Malhotra under the banner Prime Focus Studios and Yash Monster Mind Creations.
