Hyderabad, 20 September 2026: An important news is coming out from Suryapet district of Telangana. In the morning, Kasakurthi Jagadish, a renowned neurosurgeon from Hyderabad, died in a horrific road accident.
It is reported that the car caught fire after hitting the divider and was completely gutted. The accident took place on the Khammam-Hyderabad Highway near Pillalamari in Suryapet at around 7:15 am on Sunday.
The car went out of control and collided with the divider.
According to preliminary reports, the Volvo car which was speeding towards the doctor suddenly went out of control and crashed into the road divider. The collision was so strong that the car immediately caught fire and within a few moments the entire vehicle was engulfed in flames.
Everything was destroyed before the fire brigade arrived.
It is noteworthy that the passersby had informed the police immediately after the incident. Before the fire brigade could come and control the fire, the entire car was burnt to ashes and the doctor inside died due to asphyxiation and intoxication.
Kaspakurthi was returning after meeting his family.
Dr. identified the deceased based on the car's registration number. She has been portrayed as Jagdish from Kaskur. He was working as a neurosurgeon at Mamta Hospital in Khammam and after completing his work on Sunday, he was returning from Khammam to Hyderabad to meet his family.
Police had said that preliminary investigation suggests that the doctor may have suffered a stroke while driving, due to which he lost control of the vehicle and subsequently caused the accident. However, the police is investigating the matter from all angles and the forensic team has seized the burnt remains to start further investigation.
