A modern seed and pesticide warehouse built in Hinauti of Pahari block at a cost of Rs 1 crore thirty one lakh, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi inaugurated it grandly.

Mirzapur Padri. Today a big historic step has been taken in the direction of taking the agriculture sector to new heights and making the farmers self-reliant in the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi inaugurated the newly constructed state-of-the-art seed and pesticide warehouse at a huge cost of Rs 1 crore thirty one lakh in Hinauti Gram Sabha under the hill development block by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp.
This two-storey modern complex, developed by Uttar Pradesh Project Corporation Limited, is an unmatched example of rural infrastructure. In the lower part of this complex, an advanced seed and pesticide warehouse has been constructed as per scientific standards, while on the upper part, keeping in mind the convenience of the farmers, a special ‘Kisan Hall’ i.e. modern training center has been prepared. Farmer seminars, workshops and training sessions will be organized in this hall. On this glorious and historic occasion, the popular MLA of the area and former Minister of State for Energy, Ramashankar Singh Patel, along with all senior officials of the Agriculture Department and hundreds of farmers from Hinauti Gram Sabha and surrounding rural areas were present.

After the inauguration ceremony, while addressing the huge crowd and excited farmers who gathered at the spot, Agriculture Minister of the state Surya Pratap Shahi underlined the policies and priorities of the government. He said that the biggest priority of our government is to deliver advanced technology, better seeds and modern equipment to the farmers’ fields of the country. This modern warehouse built in Hinauti Gram Sabha of Pahari Development Block will not be just a building, but will become a major center of agricultural development for this entire area. There will be no need to travel to the district headquarters or far-flung places for high quality certified government seeds and effective pesticides, nor will there be any need to worry about lack of resources on time.
The Agriculture Minister further stressed that the Rs 1 crore thirty one lakh invested in this project will directly meet the basic needs of the farmers of the region. Under our transparent policy, the benefits of all government schemes will reach the ground directly and without any middleman, which will increase the income of farmers. In this sequence, from the stage itself, he issued strict instructions to the District Agriculture Officer present on the spot that the entire system of supply and distribution of seeds and pesticides coming to the warehouse should be kept completely digital and transparent, so that its benefits can reach every small, big and marginal farmer of the area on time without any discrimination.

Madihan MLA and former Minister of State for Energy Ramashankar Singh Patel, who was present as a special guest at the function, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Agriculture Minister for bringing this big and important gift to Hinauti Gram Sabha. Addressing the public meeting, he said that today is a day of great joy and pride for the farmers of Majhwa assembly constituency, especially this rural area of Pahari block. Recalling the old days, he said that earlier our farmers had to make rounds of Mirzapur district headquarters or other far-flung centers for improved agricultural inputs, government fertilizers and seeds, due to which both their precious time and money were wasted and many times sowing could not be done at the right time.
The MLA further said that now with the opening of this modern warehouse and farmer training center, not only will the cost of farmers be reduced, but they will also be able to come to this center and get acquainted with modern agricultural techniques, advanced organic farming and scientific methods. He expressed full confidence that this modern infrastructure prepared at such a huge cost will prove to be a milestone in the agricultural development of the entire region in the coming days and will pave a new path for the prosperity of the farmers of the region.
Heavy presence of political and social personalities gathered at the function
The presence of various political, administrative and social personalities of the region during this dignified inauguration ceremony further enhanced the beauty of the program. To witness this big event, Majhwa assembly constituency MLA Suchishmita Maurya, block chief of Pahari block Inder Bahadur Pandey, senior leaders Ashok Maurya, Surendra Tiwari, Ashish Dubey and Pradhan Sangh President Beas Ji Bind Advocate were prominently present on the stage.
Along with this, prominent citizens like Hinauti village head representative Ramsingh Rana, Ramdev Saroj, Anil Maurya, Pintu Singh, Sudhakar Singh and Rakesh Singh etc. registered their important presence in making the program successful at the local level. All the guests and local public representatives present wholeheartedly appreciated this welfare thinking of the government and expressed gratitude to the Agriculture Minister.
Blueprint for scientific technological construction and strong supply of the future
To make this entire project 100% successful on the ground, the Agriculture Department and the Construction Wing (Uttar Pradesh Project Corporation) have worked with full promptness and mutual coordination. Giving information about departmental preparations, District Agriculture Officer Avadhesh Kumar Yadav said that a strong blueprint has already been prepared for this new financial cycle between April 2025 to March 2026 and the successful operation of this new complex in the coming times and the smooth supply system from the district level. Its biggest benefit will be that in both the main Kharif and Rabi seasons, fertilizers, improved seeds and pesticides will be provided to the farmers of dozens of villages including Hinauti and its surrounding areas at the last moment without any delay.
While talking about the technical quality of the construction, Assistant Project Manager of Uttar Pradesh Project Corporation, Suryajit Singh said that under his supervision, this strong infrastructure has been finalized keeping in mind the scientific standards. This warehouse is specially designed to be completely damp-free.

After this historic inauguration, there is a huge wave of enthusiasm and happiness among the farmers coming from Hinauti Gram Sabha and all the surrounding rural areas. Farmers believe that now having a training center and seed warehouse near their village will give a new and scientific direction to their farming.
