Materials:

  • parents
  • Mugdal
  • salt
  • Oil
  • green chilies
  • came
  • curd
  • semolina
  • Ino
  • Oil

Action:

  • To make mugdal spinach idli first, soak mugdal in water for sometime. Keep 3 to 4 and then remove the water from it.
  • Put the soaked mugdal in a mixer bowl and make a paste by adding chopped spinach, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds and curd. Do not add water while preparing the paste.
  • In a large bowl, add the prepared green beetroot and add a bowl of semolina and salt to taste and mix well.
  • Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes for the semolina to bloom. Then add ino and mix well.
  • Keep the idli pot to heat. Oil an idli pan and add the prepared mixture to it and keep the idli to steam.
  • After cooking the idli for 10 to 15 minutes, switch off the flame and keep the idli aside after the steam in the pot.
  • Ready Green Idlis made in easy way.
