A medical college in Ayodhya was thrown into a tizzy on Saturday when a handwritten document allegedly detailing bomb-making techniques was recovered from the X-ray room. Upon discovering the document, the college administration took the matter seriously and immediately informed the police. The case pertains to Rajarshi Dasharath Autonomous State Medical College.
It is reported that officials in the department responsible for the X-ray room received this document. Immediately, the police were informed and an investigation was launched. The biggest question at this time is how this document reached the medical college’s X-ray room and who prepared it?
First-year student detained, two others questioned
- In the initial investigation by the police, suspicion has fallen on a first year medical student.
- According to officials, Sarfaraz, a resident of Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, was on duty in the X-ray room on Friday night. After finding the documents, police detained him and began questioning him.
- Two other people who were on duty at the same time are also being questioned to find out when the document arrived there and who was behind it.
- However, the police have not yet said whether the detained student has been proven to be involved in any criminal activity or conspiracy. The interrogation and investigation are ongoing.
What was in the document?
- According to police, the recovered paper contained alleged instructions for making explosives. It also mentioned certain substances and materials that were linked to the explosives manufacturing process.
- However, given the sensitivity of the matter, it is not appropriate to make public the details of these alleged instructions or materials.
- At present, the investigating agencies are trying to find out who actually wrote the document, what was its purpose and why it was kept in the medical college campus.
- Dr. Arvind Singh, the college’s chief medical superintendent, stated that the police were informed immediately after receiving the documents. He added that an investigation is underway and further action will be taken based on the findings.
Is there a big conspiracy?
The most important point in this case is that the police have not yet linked the document to any terrorist or criminal conspiracy. Investigating agencies are investigating the matter, considering every possible angle. Part of the investigation is also determining whether the document was prepared by the student himself or left there by someone else. Therefore, it would be premature to reach any conclusions at this time. The student’s detention does not mean that the charges against him have been proven.
Security beefed up at the college
Following the incident, the medical college administration has become vigilant. Instructions have been issued to review the campus’ security arrangements. The college administration is examining how to further strengthen security measures, including the movement of outsiders in sensitive areas, the monitoring of documents, and other security measures. Since the incident involves a sensitive campus like the medical college, the administration does not want to be negligent.

- Later, investigating agencies investigated an alleged terrorist network of employees associated with Al-Falah University and a module of Jaish-e-Mohammed.
- Due to this old case, the documents found at Ayodhya Medical College have raised concerns among security agencies. However, the police have not yet established any direct connection between the two incidents. The picture will only become clear after the investigation into the Ayodhya case is completed.
What questions are being sought to be answered in the investigation now?
The police face several key questions: who wrote the document, who placed it in the X-ray room, what was its purpose, and was it part of a larger conspiracy or an individual’s personal activity? Furthermore, the police are trying to determine whether any of those on duty knew about the document in advance.
The investigation is currently proceeding based on the student’s interrogation and statements from other individuals. Until the police investigation yields concrete conclusions, it would be inappropriate to attribute blame to any individual for the discovery of the documents.
