Aamir Khan, 61, to wed Gauri Spratt; Shah Rukh, Salman may attend

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, 61, is set to marry his partner Gauri Spratt, 47, in a quiet registered ceremony at his Mumbai residence on July 5, according to reports. The couple, who have been together for over a year, have decided to formalise their relationship in an intimate gathering attended only by family and a small circle of close friends.

A low-key celebration

According to reports, the wedding will be a private affair with no large-scale celebrations planned. Industry buzz, however, suggests that Khan’s fellow superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan could be among the attendees, subject to their availability.

Who is Gauri Spratt?

Gauri Spratt was previously associated with Aamir Khan Productions and has a seven-year-old son, Quinn, from a prior marriage. She is the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British-born Communist who arrived in India in the 1920s and later became a part of the country’s freedom movement.

Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt first confirmed their relationship in 2025 in Mumbai at a pre-birthday event of the Bollywood star, who claimed they were in a relationship for a year then.

Khan’s marriages before

This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira, before the couple parted ways. He then married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the two welcomed a son, Azad, together. Aamir and Kiran announced their separation in 2021.

On the work front

Khan was last seen in Stars on the ground. He is expected to next appear in a biopic on cricketer Lala Amarnath and an untitled Rajkumar Hirani film.
