‘Great choice in women’, Kajol and Juhi pulled Aamir Khan’s leg before his third marriage

Read Desk. Aamir Khan threw a lavish party on Saturday evening to celebrate 25 years of his production house, ‘Aamir Khan Productions’. The guest list not only included prominent actors, filmmakers and technicians from the AKP family, but also Aamir’s close friends and colleagues, including his ‘Ishq’ co-stars Kajol and Juhi Chawla.

There came a time during the evening when Aamir and his second ex-wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao shared the stage with Kajol and Juhi. Aamir had worked with both of them and Ajay Devgan in Indra Kumar’s 1997 hit romantic comedy ‘Ishq’. Both of them praised Aamir a lot as an actor and producer, but like old friends, they also pulled his leg.

Kajol said, “I think one thing that can be said about Mr. Aamir Khan is that his production has proved that he has very good taste in films… very good taste, which started with ‘Lagaan’ and continued further.” Kajol was referring to Aamir’s 2001 debut film as a producer – Ashutosh Gowariker’s period sports drama ‘Lagaan’ – which completes 25 years of its release on June 15.

But then Kajol also added a personal point, due to which Aamir Khan clearly felt embarrassed. “And he has great taste in women too,” he said, laughing and jokingly elbowing Aamir. However, his ex-wife Kiran Rao was also standing a few inches away, but at the same time, she was distracted by something else and it seemed that she did not hear Kajol’s funny joke. Aamir, who was first married to Reena Dutta and then Kiran, is now all set to marry his partner of two years Gauri Spratt for the third time on July 5.

Juhi Chawla credits herself for Aamir Khan’s success

At the AKP event on Saturday, when Juhi Chawla was asked to say a few words about her long and memorable association with Aamir Khan, she replied, “I just don’t have the words to say. I have so many things to say about Aamir that if I start speaking, the entire evening will be spent on that. Because before AKP was made, when we worked together, he was AK. That was his first film. Whoever has worked with me has reached great heights today.” Has reached.”

Juhi and Aamir worked together in Mansoor Khan’s romantic drama film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ in 1988, which proved to be a big turning point in their careers. They then appeared together in memorable films like Mahesh Bhatt’s 1993 romantic-comedy ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ and Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1994 comedy ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan had also worked with Juhi in successful films early in his career, like Aziz Mirza’s 1992 romantic-comedy ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’ and Yash Chopra’s 1993 blockbuster romantic thriller ‘Darr’.
