Mumbai: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt shared a heartwarming first dance as husband and wife after their intimate wedding ceremony at the actor’s Juhu residence on Saturday. A video from the celebrations, shared by cricketer Irfan Pathan, has gone viral on social media.

A Heartwarming First Dance

The video shows Aamir embracing Gauri as the newlyweds swayed together on the dance floor while family members and close friends applauded and cheered them on.

During the wedding vows, Gauri was heard saying, “I, Gauri Spratt, take Aamir Khan, my protector, my shelter, as my lawful husband,” before the couple exchanged rings and completed the ceremony.

Irfan Pathan Congratulates the Couple

Sharing the video on social media, Irfan Pathan congratulated the couple and wished them a lifetime of happiness.

“Dear Aamir Bhai & Gauri, Heartiest congratulations on your wedding! Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness, laughter, and togetherness. May Allah bless your beautiful journey with endless joy and countless blessings,” he wrote.

An Intimate Wedding Ceremony

Earlier in the day, the couple tied the knot in a private registered marriage attended by close family members and a handful of friends.

The first official wedding photograph showed Aamir and Gauri signing the marriage register in the presence of their children and guests.

For the ceremony, Aamir wore a classic white bandhgala paired with a dhoti, while Gauri opted for an elegant ivory lehenga with statement jewellery.

Family Played a Special Role

Aamir’s son Azad Rao Khan and Gauri’s son Quinn were present during the ceremony, alongside other family members.

The actor’s children from his previous marriage, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, also attended the celebrations, reflecting the close-knit nature of the intimate wedding.

The ceremony marked a new chapter for the couple, who had been in a relationship for over two years before officially tying the knot.
