AAP MP Sanjay Singh’s big allegation on Ram Temple, says – land worth ₹ 9 crores bought for ₹ 55 crores, money reaching Nagpur directly
digital desk- Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has made very serious and shocking allegations regarding the construction of Ayodhya Ram temple during a press conference in Lucknow. Sanjay Singh, citing proper documents, claimed that the game of ‘biggest donation theft’ is going on in the name of temple construction. He alleged that this amount of corruption is directly reaching the headquarters of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and top level people are involved in this entire matter. In the press conference, Sanjay Singh directly targeted Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He said, “I have got the documents of the biggest donation theft in my hands. Champat Rai has bought 117 Biswa land worth just Rs 9 crore for a record Rs 55 crore.” According to Sanjay Singh, this land of Shahnawajpur Majha Barhata was purchased from Alok Bansal and Shivani Bansal on 16 November 2023.
Fraud with farmers and Champat Rai’s ‘generosity’
Sanjay Singh cornered the government and the trust by raising the issue of huge difference in the rates of land acquisition. He told that about three and a half thousand Biswa land in Majha Barhata was acquired from farmers. In this process, only Rs 4 lakh 40 thousand per Biswa was paid to the farmers by the government and Modi Trust. But when similar land was purchased by Champat Rai, he showed ‘generosity’ and paid directly at the rate of Rs 47 lakh per biswa. He raised the question that if this land was purchased in 2023 and acquired in 2024, then whose share is this loot going to?
Questions raised on the silence of PM Modi and Mohan Bhagwat
MP Sanjay Singh made a scathing attack on the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on this issue. He taunted and said that it seems as if the corruption expressway from Ayodhya to Nagpur (RSS headquarters) has become completely toll-free, that is why neither the Prime Minister nor Mohan Bhagwat made any statement on such a big scam. Singh said, “It seems that a game is going on to loot the temple donations and send them directly to the Sangh headquarters.”
The role of Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is also under siege
Sanjay Singh also raised questions on the role of the current Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar (who was earlier a member of this trust while in the Home Ministry) in this alleged theft of donations. He alleged that at the time of donation theft, Gyanesh Kumar was a member of the trust. He taunted, “The one who is getting votes stolen through EVMs was also getting donations stolen there. What was his role in this matter, there should also be a thorough investigation.”
Demand for SIT investigation under the supervision of Supreme Court
The Aam Aadmi Party leader said that since this trust has been formed on the orders of the Supreme Court, the investigation of this entire scam should also be done under the direct supervision of the Supreme Court. He told that he has sent an official mail to Uttar Pradesh DGP, Ayodhya SSP and other top officials regarding this matter, demanding action against donation theft. Sanjay Singh announced that he will himself seek time and meet the SIT officials to hand over the solid documents of this corruption worth thousands of crores, so that it can be clear whether the SIT is really working honestly or not.
