Company Chairman Akash Ambani said that this AI assistant will completely change the calling experience of users and will be able to do many smart tasks automatically.
What is Jio Call Agent?
‘Jio Call Agent’ is an AI voice assistant that will work directly during phone calls. Users can add it to a call and activate it by simply saying “Hey Jio”.
This AI assistant has the ability to understand calls, record them and convert them into text. It can also prepare a summary of the conversation.

According to Akash Ambani, this AI agent will not be limited to just talking, but will also be able to do many real-time tasks.
It can book cabs, order food, reserve tables at restaurants and even set meeting schedules for users.

‘Jio Call Agent’ will be directly connected to Jio’s telecom network and will reach more than 50 crore users. It will also have support for Indian languages, which will make it easier and useful for more people.

This AI assistant will be able to do real-time transcription during calls and recognize the voices of multiple people simultaneously.
After the call ends, it will summarize the entire conversation, highlight important points and even create reminders that can be shared with others.
