‘Aaple Sarkar’ web portal will be restored soon! Working on a war footing to overcome technical difficulties
Although the ‘Aaple Sarkar’ web portal, which provides essential services to the citizens of the state, has been temporarily closed due to technical difficulties, it will soon be launched in full capacity, informed the Minister of Electronics, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Adv. Ashish Shelar said. An expert committee is working on a war footing to resolve the issues in the portal, with special emphasis on making the system more secure and efficient.

Caste certificate, resident certificate, income certificate, scholarship application and applications for various competitive examinations were disrupted due to technical reasons since the night of April 27. Taking cognizance of the inconvenience caused by millions of citizens using this portal every day, the government has taken immediate steps.
In this background, a high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister Shelar. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the department as well as officials of MahaIT. A special committee of IT experts, engineers and technology heads has been constituted to find out the root cause of the technical difficulties. The committee has completed the preliminary inspection and necessary rectification process has been initiated.
Various technical improvements are being implemented to make the portal more secure, stable and faster. For this, guidance is being sought in coordination with the Indian representatives of international technology companies like Microsoft, Dell and Commvault. It was also informed that all technical systems and expert teams are working 24 hours a day.

Minister Shelar expressed the belief that the repair work is in the final stages and the ‘Aaple Sarkar’ portal will be restored soon. It has also been appealed to the citizens to be patient and contact the service centers.
‘Aaple Sarkar’ is an important digital platform for service delivery in the state and is directly related to the daily needs of citizens. The government is committed to overcome the existing technical constraints and build a more capable, secure and efficient system. The administration has expressed confidence to provide uninterrupted services to the citizens by starting the portal at full capacity soon.
