AAP's big bet before Goa elections 2027, Kejriwal announced alliance with Goa Forward Party

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party has made a big political announcement regarding the assembly elections to be held in Goa in 2027. AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced a pre-poll alliance with Goa Forward Party (GFP). Both the parties will contest the elections together under the name 'Goa First'. Announcing the alliance, Kejriwal has presented it as a new option in Goa politics. He said that the people of the state have been looking for electoral options between BJP and Congress for a long time. In such a situation, the need for this alliance was felt to provide a political alternative different from both the parties.

Kejriwal's attack on BJP-Congress

Kejriwal targeted BJP over the current political situation in Goa. He alleged that in the present government of the state, there are a large number of leaders who were earlier associated with the Congress. According to him, because of this there is no clear ideology of the government. The AAP leader claimed that the government in Goa is focused on money and personal interests rather than public issues. He also raised the issue of alleged growing mafia influence in the state and said the aim of the alliance was to create a new alternative against this politics.

Told 'Goa First' as an option to win

Arvind Kejriwal said that 'Goa First' is not just an election agreement, but a new option before the people of the state. He claimed that the alliance will contest the elections on its own to form the government and will win. He said that the voters of Goa have given a chance to BJP and Congress earlier, but they have been disappointed by both. According to Kejriwal, the public is no longer ready to take the same kind of political decision for the third time.

Political turmoil increased regarding 2027 elections

Goa Assembly elections are still far away, but after the announcement of the alliance of AAP and GFP, the stir in the politics of the state has intensified. Kejriwal claimed that BJP will not get majority in the upcoming elections and 'Goa First' alliance will come to power. However, the picture of the electoral contest will become more clear after the announcement of candidates and seat distribution.
