Famous Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has once again spoken openly about his bad relationship with Shahrukh Khan. Recently he shared all the things in his heart in a podcast interview. Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s voice had given special identity to the songs of many memorable films of Shahrukh Khan. But now he clearly said that Shahrukh Khan’s ego is responsible for the rift that has arisen between the two.
According to Hindustan Times, Abhijeet said, ‘Shah Rukh Khan’s arrogance and my self-esteem are the real reasons for the rift in our relationship. Shahrukh is younger than me. Yet when Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder abused her and even slapped her, Shahrukh hugged him and tried to improve the relationship. Similarly, Aamir Khan even named his dog after Shahrukh, and despite that both remained good friends. But this did not happen with me. What saddens me the most is that Shahrukh never apologized even once. He is such a big star, yet he could not even do the small thing of apologizing.
Answer to fans’ allegations
Many people were accusing Abhijeet that he was using Shahrukh Khan’s name to earn name and publicity. To this Abhijeet clearly replied that he had no reason to do so. He said that he is just expressing his views without any selfishness.
What happened before?
Even before this, in an interview, Abhijeet Bhattacharya had told why he left singing for Shahrukh Khan. He had told ANI, ‘When someone’s self-respect is hurt again and again, then one feels that enough is enough. I was not singing for Shahrukh, but for my work. But when I saw that Shahrukh calls and recognizes even the tea seller on the sets by name, but does not recognize the singer who lent his voice to his films, I felt very bad. I thought why should I become their voice? When there is no respect for my work, then why?’

While speaking in this podcast, Abhijeet said that he also hopes to reconcile with Shahrukh Khan soon.
