Abhishek becomes national general secretary amid political turmoil in TMC, many leaders remained missing from the meeting

During the meeting, new office bearers were also announced for various cells and units of the party. Chandrima Bhattacharya was given the responsibility of the West Bengal unit, while Mala Roy was given the leadership of the women’s organization. The command of the Youth Front has been handed over to Sayani Ghosh.

Apart from this, new faces have also been given responsibilities in the student organization and trade union wing. The party believes that these changes will give new energy to the organization and strengthen the morale of the workers.
