Musk's company SpaceX activated Starlink in Ukraine after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022. Starlink is used by the country's military for various important tasks on the battlefield. Notable among them are – communication and coordination, operation of drones, intelligence sharing etc. But recently there has been an outage in Starlink's services, claiming in Ukraine. Internet speed has been reduced. According to one report, Kiev suffered heavy battle damage in the Starlink disaster. One drone after another fell from the sky like flies. Due to the loss of communication, the drones worth more than 100,000 dollars were found by the army of that country.
Mask opened up about the matter on Saturday. “StarShield is a different system, controlled by the US government. What they do is entirely up to them,” he said. He added, “SpaceX contributed more to the defense of Ukraine than any other private company in the world. At the beginning of the war, when Russia was trying to take over Ukraine, SpaceX protected Ukraine by disrupting various means of communication used by Moscow.” But why is Starlink slowing down in Ukraine? In Musk's words, “Ukraine was using Starlink as a tool in violation of the terms of service. Drone attacks were being carried out using artificial satellite internet services. Many people died.” However, Kiev said on Saturday that Starlink services in the country had returned to normal.
