Tezzbuzz Desk – South superstar Yash's much-awaited film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups' is going to be released in theaters on August 26. Before the release, a big pre-release promotional event of the film was organized in Hyderabad on the night of 22 August. However, during this time an accident occurred, in which four students were injured. The police have registered an FIR in the matter and started investigation.
Accident happened during Yash's speech
The event was organized on the grounds of Malla Reddy University. Apart from Yash, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasant, Huma Qureshi and many other actors associated with the film attended the program. A large number of students and fans had reached the venue to see their favorite stars.
It is being told that some students had climbed the iron pipes installed for the sound system and lights. Meanwhile, some people fell down and within no time the heavy iron sound system also fell.
Information about four students being injured in the accident has come to light. An ambulance reached the spot immediately after the incident and the injured were taken to the hospital.
Yash immediately stopped his speech
The accident happened when Yash was present on the stage and addressing the fans. As soon as he saw the incident, he stopped his speech and asked the security personnel to reach the spot.
Yash also took information from the organizers about the condition of the students. The video of this reaction of the actor has surfaced on social media.
After the accident, Cyberabad police took suo motu cognizance and registered a case. Police have filed a complaint against the management of Malla Reddy Institute and the event management company that organized the pre-release event of 'Toxic'.
The police are now investigating what lapses took place in the security arrangements during the event and how the heavy sound system was allowed to be installed like this.
