Guwahati. The accused of murdering and beheading his wife in Assam's Guwahati died of serious head injuries after jumping from a police vehicle while being taken to the hospital in the early hours of Monday. An officer gave this information.

The wife's severed head was found kept in a polythene bag inside the refrigerator. Both of them were married for less than a year. Goswami was a resident of Dhubri district, Whereas Talukdar was a native of Guwahati.
The accused had complained of restlessness
Guwahati's Eastern Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Tabu Ram Pegu said Goswami, who is in custody at Hatigaon police station, had complained of uneasiness. the officer said, The details of the accused kept in police custody 24 Medical examination has to be done within hours. It was almost time for her next checkup and she had also complained of feeling uneasy. Therefore our team was taking him to GMCH at around 2 o'clock in the night. Jumped after kicking the constable

Pegu said the constable who was holding the handcuffs of the accused also sustained injuries. he claimed, The constable had no idea of this sudden development.
