During his visit to Kannauj district, ADG Zone Kanpur Anupam Kulshrestha conducted a surprise inspection of the office of the Superintendent of Police and thoroughly reviewed the office arrangements, administrative functioning and archival system.
During the inspection, ADG Kanpur Zone made a close observation of the Head Clerk Branch, Reader’s Office, Public Grievance Cell and other important branches and examined the maintenance of records, systematic maintenance of file files, their updated status and the overall functioning of the office.
At the time of inspection, necessary guidelines were given paying special attention to cleanliness, discipline and systematic availability of records in the office premises.
It was also directed that all records should be kept updated on time and execution of office work should be ensured with complete transparency, accountability and efficiency. Laying special emphasis on public hearing and quick, quality and sensitive disposal of public complaints, it was said that the functioning of police offices should be such that confidence among the common people and positive police image is further strengthened.
Harish Chander, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kanpur Zone, Kanpur, Vinod Kumar, Superintendent of Police, District Kannauj and other officers/employees were present during the inspection.
