Read Desk. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have become parents to their second child, a daughter. The couple shared this good news through an Instagram post on Saturday. The picture, along with the baby's tiny footprints, read, “Welcome baby girl…19/9/2026…Dua, Deepika, Ranveer.”
Renowned director Aditya Dhar heartily congratulated him on this happy news. The filmmaker wrote in the comment section, “First Lakshmi came, now Saraswati has also come!! Very happy for you all. Another little angel has arrived in the family. May God give her all the love and happiness in the world.”
Many other celebrities took to social media to congratulate Ranveer and Deepika on the arrival of their second daughter. Wishing his parents all the best for their new journey, Vicky Kaushal commented, “God bless! Congratulations.”
Alia Bhatt expressed her happiness with red heart, evil eye emoji, sun and dancing emoji. Kriti Sanon wrote, “Wow!! Congratulations to you guys!!! (red heart emoji). Dua got a little sister!!! It's truly a blessing.”

Earlier this week, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were spotted at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. The 'Kalki' actress wore an orange and purple kurta set to visit the temple, while Ranveer wore a purple kurta with white trousers.
The couple recently shared pictures from their pregnancy photoshoot, and from the time of the announcement it seemed like the arrival of their second child was just around the corner. Ranveer and Deepika started dating each other in 2013 during the shooting of 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'. After dating for several years, the couple got secretly engaged in 2015. They married on November 14, 2018, in Lake Como, Italy.
Deepika and Ranveer became parents to their first child, Dua, on September 8, 2024.
