ADM stopped Sanjay Singh while talking to students on paper leak, RJD got angry and asked…
India News Live, Digital Desk: News of a major political and administrative stir is coming out from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. A video of the heated argument between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) firebrand Rajya Sabha MP and UP in-charge Sanjay Singh between the local ADM and the police administration is going viral on social media. This whole controversy started on Monday (1 June 2026) when Sanjay Singh had come to the Government Circuit House in Prayagraj to communicate with the competitive students and youth affected by the NEET paper leak case. While he was listening to the problems of the students, suddenly top officials of the district administration and heavy police force arrived at the spot and started pressurizing him to stop the discussion midway. After this development, now Bihar’s main opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has also entered and RJD MP Sudhakar Singh has taken the UP government to task on this issue. RJD MP Sudhakar Singh surrounded UP Police and Administration by sharing the video. After the video of this high-profile uproar in Prayagraj Circuit House surfaced, today on Tuesday (2 June 2026), RJD MP Sudhakar Singh reposted the video of this altercation from his official X (Twitter) handle. While sharing the video, Sudhakar Singh has raised serious questions on the working style of Uttar Pradesh government, local administration and police. Sudhakar Singh has termed this administrative action as an attack on democracy and freedom of expression and has directly put the intentions of the state government in the dock. Since the appearance of this video on social media, the debate regarding paper leak and students’ rights has once again intensified. After all, what problem does the government have with the discussion of NEET paper leak? Sudhakar Singh’s big attack: MP Sudhakar Singh used very strong words in his post on social media platform X and wrote, "Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh ji was having a very important discussion with the youth and students of the country on the NEET paper leak issue at the Circuit House in Prayagraj. But Uttar Pradesh administration and police officials adopted a dictatorial attitude and reached there to stop them. My direct question on behalf of the public and students is that what problem does the government have with this important discussion? Why is the government refraining from communicating and fixing accountability on such a serious and sensitive issue related to the future of millions of students of the country?"
Sanjay Singh was listening to the pain of the students in the Circuit House, raised questions on administrative interference. In Prayagraj, which is considered the stronghold of competitive examinations, lakhs of students from across the country prepare for big examinations like NEET. AAP MP Sanjay Singh had reached there only to raise the voice of the students hurt by the paper leak incidents. While sitting in the Circuit House room, he was taking feedback from the students on their problems and future strategies, when the administrative officials came there and asked him to close it citing code of conduct, law and order or rules. Sanjay Singh strongly opposed this and asked the officials whether meeting the aggrieved students and raising their voice has now become a crime? After this incident, there is huge resentment against the administration in the student unions and opposition parties of Prayagraj.
