The judicial custody of Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has been extended by two days. After this, now CJP founder Abhijeet Deepke has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Deepke posted the picture of Sourav and Ashutosh on social media and accused the government of using police and government machinery to intimidate young protesters and suppress the voice of dissent. He raised the question whether keeping young protesters in jail shows the strength of the government.
A video of Abhijeet Deepke has surfaced in which he said, 'Prime Minister Narendra Modi must be very worried. You have to keep 26 year old Saurav Das in jail. Children are being beaten on the streets. Children have to be dragged on the streets by putting up barricades all over Delhi. He further said that Sourav and Ashutosh had gone to Jantar Mantar to hoist the tricolor. For this he was sent to judicial custody for five days. After this he was not heard. Every day the hearing was postponed on some pretext or the other. Then his custody was extended for two more days.

Accusations against PM Modi
Deepke said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must be feeling very upset by keeping 26-27 year old Saurav and 30 year old Ashutosh in jail. He taunted and said that Modi was hiding behind the police and courts. Abhijeet Deepke further said, 'You are not able to scare two youths by using the entire system. If they had kids of their own, would you do the same with them? By keeping both of them in jail, you are considering yourself a very powerful Prime Minister. You are just a coward.'
Saurav-Ashutosh were called brave
Abhijeet Deepke further wrote that let me tell you what courage is. Praising Saurav and Ashutosh, he wrote, 'After being in jail for five days, Saurav Das comes to the court smiling. The same Saurav, who once used to say that he cannot stay in jail even for a day, but now when he comes to know that his judicial custody has been extended, he is not afraid.
Referring to Ashutosh Ranka, he said, 'There is no fear on Ashutosh's face even after being in jail for five days. Courage does not mean that you hide behind the police or trouble the whole of Delhi. Courage is when you know that you are fighting a force greater than yourself and yet you do not remain silent.
What is the whole matter?
This entire matter is related to the demonstration at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. CJP's Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were among the 14 people who crossed the barricade and entered Jantar Mantar and hoisted the tricolor there. A day before this, the government had removed Jantar Mantar from the list of designated places of protest. After this, the police detained them and on October 13, both the leaders were sent to judicial custody for five days. On October 19, his custody was extended by two more days.

Whatever is happening in the court is a joke. I don't know whether it should be called a court now or not, because nothing has happened here from the legal point of view. Accusing the court, she said that she will file an appeal in the additional court.

I had no idea how we would take this movement forward but both of them took the responsibility in their hands and played a big role in taking CJP to where it is today.
Abhijeet Deepke further wrote, 'I consider myself lucky that I got the opportunity to call both of them my brothers. We get to learn a lot from him every day.
