Mumbai: The balance of the world will be changed after the US, Israel, Iran war. The world is no longer divided into two powers but the world is now multipolar and it has started since 2013. America has won the World War and the Cold War but the world has changed completely, the leadership of the world has changed. Russia, China, America and other powers have also become big. In this changing world equation, Pakistan’s importance in Asia has increased but unfortunately it does not bode well for India. Pravin Sawhney, an international commentator on defense and war strategy, said that India’s foreign policy has failed to understand the changing equations of the world and this is dangerous for India.

Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee organized a special seminar at Tilak Bhavan on the topic “US-Iran war and its impact on India”. The main speaker of this seminar was Pravin Sahni, an international commentator on defense and war policy. State Congress President Harshvardhan Sapkal was the chairman of the seminar while former MP Kumar Ketkar, Hussain Dalwai, social activist Feroze Mithiborwala etc. were present.

Concluding the seminar, Congress State President Harsh Vardhan Sapkal said that this is not a political program but it is important that seminars on new topics are being organized in Tilak Bhavan. There has been a big change in the technique of fighting so far and today’s technique. War is now being fought with the help of technology, as evident from the US-Iran war. When it comes to the question of whether we want war or Buddha, our position remains that we want Buddha. After 2014, all contexts have also changed rapidly. India had friendly relations with many countries including Nepal, Russia, Sri Lanka but today it has no friendly country. Today’s situation in the world has changed, think globally and act locally is most important today but we are stuck in caste, creed, religion. Geo-politics is going on in the country and it is only Hum Do, Hamare Do, we have got the legacy of universal brotherhood, for that now we have to fight another battle for freedom, said the state president of Congress.

Speaking on this occasion, Pravin Sahani further said that America has suffered a great loss in the US-Iran war. Behind Iran is the power of Russia and China. These two countries have provided all kind of assistance to Iran including technology. Missiles are Iran’s major strength and Iran’s geographical position is its advantage, the Strait of Hormuz is a key issue and is controlled by Iran. A large amount of world trade, oil transport and 30% of the world’s Internet network passes through this Harmuz. The US has military bases in 80 countries, spending $1 trillion. Qatar, Dubai, Saudi Arabia have large US military forces and military bases, which are targeted by Iran. Sahni also said that after the Iran war, America’s economic and military empire will be in danger.

Pravin Sahni further said that the world has become multi-polar after 2013, after Narendra Modi came to power but he is not ready to accept that the world has changed. Pakistan has become an important power in the world. We are claiming that Operation Sindoor was won but America says that Pakistan has done well in this war. Pakistan is the only country in the world, which has good relations with the three superpowers of America, Russia and China. Pakistan has gained great importance in both West Asia and South Asia. It is very regrettable that Pakistan is mediating between America and Iran and that it is mediating.

There are many flaws in India’s foreign policy, we are not ready to accept the facts. India is not yet ready to accept the new equation of the world. India is a big country, should become a big power in South Asia. Russia’s friendship is important to India but we are leaning towards America, the US President publicly insults his Prime Minister and we remain silent. If India does not recognize the opportunity and change its foreign policy in time, it will be a danger for India. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in a US-Israeli attack, but there was no simple regret or condolence from India. Today Iran has good relations with India only because of the old relations between India and Iran, not because of today’s Modi government. Sahani also said that Iran has good relations with India due to the culture, tradition and relationship of both countries.
