A horrifying incident happened during the puja.
A few days ago, a puja for domestic peace was going on in a house in Shambhupur village. According to the family, priests were called for this. During this time a dispute took place and according to the police investigation, Arvind Singh was accused of murdering his wife and two priests who had come to perform the puja. After this one of his sons also died.
Later, when the children were held hostage in the house, the police conducted an operation for about eight hours. Arvind Singh also died during police action. In this entire incident, the family and a total of five people associated with it lost their lives.
Mention of old disputes and fears also
The family has also mentioned the fear that was already prevalent in the village. Sunil Singh alias Guddu Singh was murdered in the year 2018. The family says that the accused in this case went to jail, but later came out on bail.
Sunil Singh's daughter Varsha says that her uncle Arvind Singh started living in fear after this old incident. According to the family, they felt scared even to send the children to school. However, whether there is any direct connection between the old case and the recent murder can be confirmed only after investigation.
Concern about the future of six girls
After the incident, six girls of the family are now away from their village. They are faced with the challenge of continuing their studies and meeting their daily needs. The family says that there are concerns about security also.
According to family relative Rajneesh, they want to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The family has also prepared a letter regarding their demands. In this case, justice has been demanded, safety of women and girls and help for the future of six girls.
