After being out of T20 World Cup, whom did Harmanpreet Kaur blame for the defeat? Counting Team India’s mistakes

Harmanpreet Kaur Statement on Loss: Team India is out of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. To make it to the semi-finals, Team India needed to win the last match of Group A against Australia at any cost. The Australian team chased the runs and won by 6 wickets. With this defeat, Team India was out of the Women’s T20 World Cup. Harmanpreet Kaur now gave a big statement regarding the defeat of Team India and told where she went wrong.

Harmanpreet Kaur gave a big statement

Harmanpreet Kaur said after the defeat against Australia, ‘If I talk about the entire tournament, we did not do well as a team. The best should come against good teams. We should think about this. Many times we are ahead in the match but give away a lot of runs in the last few overs. When we are chasing, we are not able to score runs. I think this has been happening for a long time.

The Indian captain believes that his team scored fewer runs than expected. In a way, he blamed the batting order for the defeat and praised the Australian bowlers. He said, ‘We had put a good target on the scoreboard. I think we fell a little behind. Got a lot of help in the last few overs. He bowled as per the plan. We did not lose many wickets but we could not achieve the score we expected. It was a good match but the disappointing thing is that we could not get across the line.
