After Flying Flea What? Into Royal Enfield’s Motorcycle Launch Plans

Royal Enfield recently launched its first-ever electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in India. Now, the company is planning to aggressively expand its portfolio in India and global markets. These upcoming models will include new 450cc, 650cc, and all-new 750cc ICE motorcycles, along with an electric scrambler as well. So, without any delay, let’s jump right into the details of these upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycles.

The most iconic motorcycle from Royal Enfield, which is the Bullet, will soon be getting the twin-cylinder engine that has made the company popular in recent years. In terms of design, the Bullet 650 will remain almost the same as the current model. It will feature the same signature teardrop fuel tank, classic Royal Enfield badging, and a timeless design language.

The company is expected to offer classy colour options such as Battleship Blue and Cannon Black to enhance its retro appeal. Powering this motorcycle will be the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine, which produces around 46 to 47 hp and 52 Nm of torque. It will offer a strong mid-range, which will suit the Bullet’s relaxed cruising character perfectly. The Bullet 650 is expected to launch in the second half of 2026, and pricing is likely to start from around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield is also expanding its Sherpa platform lineup with the introduction of the Scram 450. This motorcycle will be positioned between the Guerrilla 450 and the Himalayan 450, and it has been designed to serve as a more road-focused scrambler with light off-road capabilities.

The Scram 450 will feature a distinct design with a Guerrilla-inspired fuel tank, a scooped single-piece seat, a tall front beak, and an upswept exhaust. It will ride on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, along with dual-purpose tyres. Suspension duties will be handled by USD forks at the front and a rear monoshock.

However, the suspension travel is expected to be slightly lower than the Himalayan 450, which will make it more suitable for normal usage. As for the powerplant, it will be offered with the 452cc liquid-cooled Sherpa engine producing around 40 hp and 40 Nm of torque. It will also get a 6-speed gearbox, along with a slip and assist clutch.

In terms of features, the bike is expected to get a circular TFT display, ride modes, switchable dual-channel ABS, and connectivity features. The launch is expected sometime in 2026, with pricing likely to be in the range of Rs 2.6 lakh to Rs 3 lakh.
